DESCRIPTION:In 2005\, Dr. Muraszko became the Chair of the Department of Neurosurgery at the University of Michigan\, the first woman to chair an academic neurosurgery department in the United States. \nDr. Muraszko specializes in pediatric neurosurgery and belongs to the American Association of Neurological Surgeons (AANS) and the Congress of Neurological Surgeons (CNS).  Her areas of research interests include brain tumor therapy as well as treatment of Chiari malformations\, craniofacial anomalies\, and congenital anomalies of the brain. Learn more: https://medicine.umich.edu/dept/neurosurgery/karin-muraszko-md \nREGISTER HERE
