SUMMARY:Student PIRGs Civic Leadership Training Program - Activist Boot Camp
DESCRIPTION:Building on a successful training program that has provided skills and training for thousands of students over the last 50 years\, the Student PIRGs’ Civic Leadership Training Program will provide students the training they need to run effective campaigns in their community. Students who complete the program will receive a badge of completion on LinkedIn and opportunities for future leadership during the school year. Trainings and meetings will happen virtually. DESCRIPTION:Want to know more about what it means to achieve “decarbonization” for your building project? \nVerdical Group is partnering with Southern California Edison (SCE) to present Designing for Decarbonization\, a half-day\, virtual workshop that will help attendees: \n\nUnderstand the definition of decarbonization\, zero net energy (ZNE)\, and zero net carbon (ZNC) buildings\nSee case studies of completed projects\nUnderstand the design and construction process necessary to achieve high-performance buildings\n\nYou will learn about important market trends around energy efficiency\, green building code requirements\, proven and emerging technologies\, operational best practices\, and real-world case studies in the built environment as well as be given resources and tools to set building owners\, operators\, and end users up for success.
