DESCRIPTION:Get ready for a new commute this October during Sustainable Transportation Month! Discover how you can reduce stress\, save money\, and lower your carbon footprint by traveling to campus car-free. \nUCLA offers a variety of affordable and convenient sustainable transportation options. Live far from campus? Our transit passes offer unlimited rides on many transit agencies throughout LA County\, including the seven lines that serve UCLA. Eligible students have fare-free access to transit with the undergraduate Bruin U-Pass and Bruin Grad Pass\, and employees can travel on transit with the heavily discounted Commuter All Access Pass. Bruins can also find a carpool buddy to share the cost of a discounted parking permit and gas.     \nLive closer to campus? Consider an active form of transportation such as walking or biking. UCLA has miles of bike lanes\, over 3\,500 bike parking spaces\, and many other resources for cyclists\, including benefits totaling $100 in value for eligible employees. \nPledge to try sustainable transportation during October\, and you’ll be entered to win great prizes such as gift cards to Target and AMC Theatres or UCLA Football tickets! \nThe UCLA Sustainable Transportation Fair will have giveaways and vendor exhibits.
