DESCRIPTION:UCLA Rothman Family Institute for Food Studies (RFI) is proud to continue its series: ‘IN HONOR’. ‘IN HONOR’ honors the complexity\, innovation\, and brilliance of black foodways. Through the lens of their experiences as members of the Black diaspora\, the series features artists\, scholars\, and activists who have contributed to and reshaped both local and national food conversations. \nJoin RFI and the UCLA Fowler Museum for a special screening of Finding Edna Lewis. This Emmy Award–winning film explores the life and legacy of the trailblazing chef who brought Southern cuisine to the national stage. \nBefore the screening\, enjoy a tasting inspired by Edna’s iconic dishes prepared by Chef Martin.
