DESCRIPTION:In honor of Earth Day\, join a special service event in partnership with the Friends of Ballona Wetlands for a day of care in the last coastal wetland in Los Angeles. \nGet hands-on experience while learning about urban ecology. The time and effort you put in to clear out invasive vegetation gives our slow-growing native plants room to thrive. Healthy plant life is vital for a healthy ecosystem! \nRegistration: Registration is required. You must also sign the digital waiver and watch the instructional safety video before the event. \nAges: Activities are recommended for ages 7 and up.
