More details on event website: http://www\,ecochella.com\n\n\nMission\nOur mission is to educate and inspire UCLA students about unconventional uses of renewable energy while showcasing the link between sustainability\, health\, music and a wheel-y good time. \n\n\nDescription\nEcochella is UCLA’s annual outdoor concert featuring student and local bands and powered 100% by BICYCLES. Our mission is to educate and inspire UCLA students about unconventional uses of renewable energy while showcasing the link between sustainability\, health\, music and a wheel-y good time. Line up announced soon!! \nAt the pilot Ecochella on May 24\, 2013\, eight student groups and a popular local band played for four hours with a sound system powered by the energy of students’ legs for an audience of nearly one thousand. The night was filled not only with pedal-powered music but also bike-powered smoothies and ice cream\, a giant sustainability fair\, a solar powered food truck\, a yoga class and a sassy bluegrassy moonlit dance/bike party to headliner Dustbowl Revival.
