DESCRIPTION:Reservations Required \nCalifornia’s Climate Future: Water and the Sierra Nevada \nOver the past few years\, Californians saw firsthand the consequences of hotter-than-normal temperatures and a smaller-than-normal Sierra Nevada snowpack—historically low reservoir levels\, dying trees and increased wildfire risk\, to name a few. You may be wondering\, “If things are like this now\, what will they be like in the future\, as our climate continues to change?” \nUCLA Professor Alex Hall and his research team have set out to understand just how climate change will impact the mountain landscapes we love and the snowpack California depends on for water.
