Celebrating the Fowler’s two PST ART: Art & Science Collide exhibitions—Sangre de Nopal/Blood of the Nopal: Tanya Aguiñiga & Porfirio Gutiérrez en Conversación/in Conversation and the upcoming Fire Kinship: Southern California Native Ecology and Art—this panel featuring artists Porfirio Gutiérrez, Sarah Rosalena, and Lazaro Arvizu Jr., moderated by Shirley & Ralph Shapiro Director Silvia Forni, will focus on Indigenous ecological knowledge, ancestry, craft, science, and technology, spurring a dialogue of critique, reflection, and futurity.
