Ballona Wetlands Stewardship Day
In honor of Earth Day, join a special service event in partnership with the Friends of Ballona Wetlands for a day of care in the last coastal wetland in Los Angeles.
Get hands-on experience while learning about urban ecology. The time and effort you put in to clear out invasive vegetation gives our slow-growing native plants room to thrive. Healthy plant life is vital for a healthy ecosystem!
Registration: Registration is required. You must also sign the digital waiver and watch the instructional safety video before the event.
Ages: Activities are recommended for ages 7 and up. Youths 16 and under should be accompanied by an adult.
Parking: Parking is extremely limited. Please carpool, rideshare, ride your bike, or rent a bike with LA Metro Bike Share.
