Embracing Diversity Series: Representation in the Outdoors

UCLA Anderson Outdoor Adventure Club (OAC) is thrilled to invite you to the next event in our Embracing Diversity Series: Representation in the Outdoors!
This event will feature a panel of incredible community leaders: Jude Glenn and Sarina Pizzala from Queer Mountaineers, Christian La Mont from Latino Outdoors (“Yo Cuento” Initiative), and Jorge Vallecillos from Escalemos (Rock Climbing Collective) and will be moderated by our VP of EDI, Natalia Rodriguez Muxica (‘24).
We will explore the barriers that have historically prevented underrepresented groups from participating in outdoor activities and learn how these leaders and their organizations are working to increase outdoor accessibility for all.
