On July 14, we invite you to the unveiling of UCLA’s Sustainable LA Grand Challenge report card on ecosystem health in L.A. County — the region’s most comprehensive evaluation of ecosystem health and proposed strategies and actions to move us toward a more sustainable Los Angeles.
We will be joined by:

• Mas Dojiri, Assistant General Manager, Los Angeles Sanitation and Environment — Executive Division
• Thomas Gillespie, Professor, UCLA Department of Geography, Institute of Environment and Sustainability
• Elizabeth Reid-Wainscoat, Urban Wildlands Campaigner, Center for Biological Diversity
This expert panel will discuss how Los Angeles County scored in four major categories: Land Use and Habitat Quality, Biodiversity, Threats to Ecosystem Health and Community Health and Wellbeing.
