Stop and Smell the Roses: Open House and Rose Pruning Demo

The Main Street Community Garden welcomes Stephen Reid, UC Master Gardener and assistant curator of the Rose Garden at The Huntington Library, to discuss practical rose care techniques, including deadheading, pruning, fertilizing, and day-to-day care. He will answer questions about your biggest rose challenges.
Join at 9:00 AM for coffee and pastries and a chance to wander through the City of Santa Monica’s Main Street Community Garden. The workshop will begin promptly at 10:00 AM.
Limited seating – please bring a chair or blanket.
