UCLA Climate Action Plan Town Hall
UCLA has completed a Decarbonization Study, funded by the State of California, to develop and analyze strategies for a 90 percent or greater reduction in scope 1 emissions from fossil gas use in campus energy systems. Based on the results of this study, UCLA is now engaged in developing an updated Climate Action Plan (CAP) which integrates the recommendations of the study.
The draft Climate Action Plan was submitted to UCOP in December 2025 and can be viewed at this link – Draft UCLA Climate Action Plan.
