There is an increasing focus on the use of technology-based innovations as a means to help address the societal issues in areas such as healthcare, transportation and education; and at the same time there is a growing “tech-lash” in areas such as the digital divide, the future of work, anti-trust and data privacy. Join the Centers@ UCLA Anderson and Professor Terry Kramer in a moderated conversation with Congressman Ro Khanna who represents the 17th Congressional District in the heart of Silicon Valley as they discuss the role of leaders in both business and government in this environment and how this relationship is changing. Ultimately gaining a better understanding as to whether the role of government should increase in the face of growing societal issues and/or whether the role of a CEO should expand in serving a variety of constituents including shareholders, employees and society more broadly.
