UNICEF Walk for Water Walkathon

Learn more about water insecurity and walk to raise funds for UNICEF’s Water, Sanitation and Hygiene Mission.

This event aims to raise money for UNICEF, with volunteers asking their close friends and family to pledge just 75 cents for each mile they walk at the event towards projects that work to provide clean water access to communities in LA, California, and the United States!

This is a great opportunity for your members to get involved with the local community and a splendid way to earn important community service hours. (We would be happy to officiate service documents!) More importantly, they are able to join hands to effect real change in a global setting.

Throughout the event, they will be encouraged to learn about water insecurity in LA, California, and the world through booths and water stations being set up across the track, as well as request songs they would like to hear played as they walk! We are also open to having you set up booths at the event, should you be interested.

We will be serving water, fruit, and fruit snacks throughout the event so bagged lunches are encouraged if needed.
