• Land That Breathes: Native Film Festival

    Join for a night of Indigenous film. This film festival will showcase the work of Native women filmmakers whose creative visions speak to the relations between community and the land: Cassandra Kihúut Alaniz (Payómkawish, Pechanga Band of Indians), Camaray Davalos (Payómkawichum), Eve-Lauryn Little Shell LaFountain (Turtle Mountain Chippewa and Jewish), Keli Mashburn (Osage Nation), Kim O’Bomsawin (Abenaki nation of Odanak), and Meg Porteous (Ngāti Maniapoto/ Pākehā). The event will also feature a mid-show Q&A with Keli Mashburn and Meg Porteous, moderated by Desiree Wetz (Juaneño/Luiseño/Cahuilla).
